Tlehs has been publishing quality newsletters and directories since 1995. While the format has changed dramatically from the first directories and newsletters, quality has always been uppermost in our minds.
Today I receive many, many compliments from board members, volunteers, and property managers about the overall quality of our publications.
While content may be the most important reason why residents read their community publications, the quality (use of color, layout, design, and the latest printing technologies) is what gets many residents to open them in the first place.
In addition, quality publications promote community involvement and volunteerism, a very relevant problem today in all communities.
Above all, quality publications are very important to building a sense of community. They are important evidence of what the board and the community is all about.
Quality is not an afterthought, it should be a primary factor in considering your community publications.
