We receive a LOT of calls from condominium and town home communities asking for help with their printed publications. The short answer has been that our program does not work for these type of communities.
Here's why...
Since the majority of our printed publications are advertiser supported, many of the services that our sponsors provide are not needed by the residents in these types of communities. This is because the association for the community is the one that is responsible for providing, and paying for those services.
Prime examples that associations provide and pay for are landscaping, exterior painting, and roof repair. Any company that provides these services simply will not advertise. The lack of these very important advertising categories means we cannot publish profitably, nor can we do these publications at no cost to the association.
We are working on ways to manage condo and townhome associations so that we can better monetize their printed publications, e.g. selling advertising only in categories that the residents are responsible for. Stay tuned on that note. I would welcome your feedback on other possible solutions.
