Our publications are 100% carbon neutral!

Tlehs Publishing has been a member of Carbonfund.org for several years. We understand our responsibility for taking care of our God given resources and environment.

In addition to our weekly recycling program, Tlehs purchases carbon offsets to help reforestation efforts, lower emmissions, and help develop renewable energy projects.

Our production facility, including paper, electricity, and gasoline used for delivery, are 100% carbon neutral.

Tlehs offers On-Demand HOA print service website!

Not officially announced yet, but available now, is our new online print service where HOA's can get quotes and order various print services. Initally it only offers newsletter printing, but other services will quickly be added, including resident directory printing. Pricing is very competitive with the market.

Lower cost vs. better communication, what's the best decision?

Now that is an interesting question, and one being faced by many HOA boards. Deciding between the elimination of printed publications vs. keeping them, along with their cost and benefits, can be difficult.

Missed Comm

Cost is certainly a legitimate reason to eliminate a hard copy publication in these tough economic times, where foreclosures and the ongoing costs of an association can dramatically affect the communities bottom line.

Printed publications can also be difficult to coordinate and publish, making them an easy target for budget cuts.

If promoting good communication is a priority in your community, then shouldn't you try to find the best solution to accomplish both goals? Why can't you promote good communication at an acceptable cost?

Quality is a key

Sponsor support is critical for successful communications

PELLA WINDOWSAs adverse as our reaction may be to advertising, sometimes the reaction is totally unwarranted.

Prime example. One of our advertisers in our publications, Pella Windows and Doors, put out a beautiful ad with great copy and a terrific offer, yet they received zero calls from it.

It is certainly a quality brand, and their test was legitimate, with the ad running in 50 newsletters in 25 different communities. Some could say this wasn't a fair test, but zero response? The phone number is specific to this ad and it was tracked, so zero response seems to be a valid claim.
